Patrick Brendan O’Neill hails from Ballyheigue, a small coastal village in County Kerry. His most recent feature documentary, Habitat shares a timely message about the fragilty of our relationship to the natural world and the adverse effects of commercial forestry plantations on bio-diversity. Sharing the stories of a number of individuals who have taken it upon themselves to actively care for our environment, the film offers an alternative, long-term vision that advocates the adaptation of a pro-active attitude to native forestry in Ireland.
